We have volunteers at 2nd Cup from 3 to 7 PM through Monday, September 4th, to help people complete applications for assistance including FEMA. If you haven't submitted your insurance claim yet, do it today! A new law goes into effect tomorrow that may negatively impact your claim. Our partner, Vineyard Church, began visiting Hogg families who indicated they needed support today. They will continue reaching out to those from our community who are in need. Lastly, HISD announced that students will begin school on September 11. The Hogg PTA is looking into child care options for those of us with small children who need to return to work on Tuesday. The girls are competing in Day 2 of their tournament! They won their first round today and will be competing again at 5:30pm.
