Join Us October 3rd for National Night Out!
When temperatures stay below freezing, your water pipes need some help from freezing. Following the below steps will reduce the risk of frozen and ruptured water pipes due to extremely cold weather.
1) Keep your heat on; even when you are not home.
2) Open cabinet doors where pipes are located.
3) Keep your water running. A moderate drip or slow stream will keep water moving in the pipes.
If you are experiencing any of the below conditions, you pipes may be already frozen.
- The moderate drip or slow stream of water has stopped.
- There is water coming from the faucet or only a slight trickle when fully opened.
- Frost on the water lines under the kitchen sick or bathroom vanity is visable.
- There is a slight bulge in the water line under the kitchen sink or bathroom vanity.
- A strange odor coming from the faucet.
- If your pipes do freeze, please contact us immediately by calling the management office during business hours or the emergency maintenance line after business hours.
