Servicing clients when your family members are at school or work, ensuring they don’t cross paths too often, and most importantly, allowing your family to still be able to function and be themselves.

🍃Professional Development - I wouldn’t say you will “lack “ professional development “ you’ll just have to work a little harder for it. This Meaning, you’ll have to make sure you stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry by networking and paying for continued education. Mingle on and offline. Take classes. Go to events. Schedule a brunch, work date, etc.

🍃Services Rendered - Working from home can be very convenient for so many reasons. However, it could possibly hinder you from offering all the services you may want to or able to vs if you were in a salon. Should that stop you? No! There are so many work around options like portable shampoo bowls, etc. Do your research and make your space work for you!
