My dumbbells jump from 20 pounds to 35 pounds, and then 45 pounds. So I've kind of been stuck doung chest press with 20 pounds because I was afraid to go up to 35 pounds by myself. I did it this morning by myself and then Big William Anthony spotted me on the way out to work. At first I could only do five and then I dug deep and finished my workout doing six! BOOM!
My return to sitting needs work but whatever! π€£π€£πͺπΎπͺπΎ
My work set up and avoiding traffic are the best parts of working from home. I can't say enough good things about my walking pad and adjustable desk top. βΊοΈ
With all the plants around, it's basically outside. π€£

As part of my recovery, I need to get in my steps, but it's been raining like crazy here in Houston and the gym-rage is way too hot for me to use my full-sized treadmill. Trying to recover from surgery in a 100 degree plus garage just sounds like a recipe for catastrophe!
So, I ordered this walking pad from Amazon for $150 and I highly recommend it. The link is below.ππΎ It gets up to 3.5 mph. Don't worry. I didn't test the speed myself. I had our daughter test it. ππ

Warning. TMI if you're imature.
Probably everyone that watches or takes part in my live workout knows that I don't care for ab work and avoid weighted ab work because too heavily weighted ab work adds girth.
BUT when the doctor tells you that a regular not pregnant uterus is 8cm long, 5cm across, and 4cm thick but yours is measuring 17cm x 8cm x 11cm which is equivalent to a woman in her 4th month of pregnancy you kinda change your perspective. π₯΄π₯΄
I've known for several years that I have fibroids but over the last 2 years, growth has gone into overdrive. For perspective I have a grape fruit, two large oranges, and two plums. That's the comparison size of the 5 fibroids in my uterus.
It has got to the point that it affects my sleep, my daily life, my workouts and how I feel in my clothes. The monthly blood loss due to the intense menstrual cycles the fibroids cause has me extremely fatigued all the time. I'm extremely anemic. My hemoglobin is at 7 and I think normal is 14. So I have to get something done hopefully within the next two months or so. My uterus is too big to be removed trans-vaginally. I'm gonna be doing a lot of ab work to strengthen the muscle wall before (hopefully by the end of May) the doctors are cutting me open and taking this too big uterus out so I can be fine again. π€£
I said all that to say this. It's not enough JUST to go to your annual lady exam. When the doctor tells you something is going on, handle it then. Don't let it get to a point where you have to have your entire life disrupted when you could have done something about the problem when it was more manageable. I could be having my uterus removed trans-vaginally with barely a week of downtime. But unfortunately I'm going to have to have my muscle wall cut open again. (I have two hernia mesh implants. 2008, 2019)
Make YOU a priority, ESPECIALLY as it applies to your health. If I didn't workout regularly I would look like I was in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy. That realization opened my eyes.
