During National Autism Awareness Month, the UHCL PD honors these individuals and their teachers at our UHCL and UHCL-Pearland Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities by wearing a special police department patch. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and we’re joining the National Safety Council to create safer roads for all. An average of 9 people a day are killed in distracted driving crashes. during to help .

April is a month with many safety awareness topics, such as Sexual Assault, Alcohol and Distracted Driving Awareness.

The UHCL PD will be providing recourses throughout the month on these awareness topics.
