The mission of the University of Houston-Clear Lake Police Department is to provide exceptional law enforcement service, effectively respond to critical and emergency situations, while proactively safeguarding the lives and liberties of our community.
The UHCL Police Department will be hosting Coffee With A Cop on Thursday, June 27th from 2:30p.m. to 4:00p.m. in the Pearland Health & Science Building Lobby.

Autism is known as a “spectrum” disorder because there is wide variation in the type and severity of symptoms people experience. During National Autism Awareness Month, the UHCL PD honors these individuals and their teachers at our UHCL and UHCL-Pearland Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities by wearing a special police department patch. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and we’re joining the National Safety Council to create safer roads for all. An average of 9 people a day are killed in distracted driving crashes. during to help .
April is a month with many safety awareness topics, such as Sexual Assault, Alcohol and Distracted Driving Awareness.
The UHCL PD will be providing recourses throughout the month on these awareness topics.
