Harvard Heights Construction will be closed New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in observance of welcoming in 2022! Our office will reopen on Monday January 3. Have a great, safe time over the holiday weekend!

The city is really struggling right now. Many employees quit when they required them to physically come back from working at home, and another wave after the mayor required them to get the vaccine.

It is taking forever to get anything done.

Calling all design professionals and architects!
The Planning Department has launched the ADU/HOU Design Competition seeking schematic designs and concepts for an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) under the current city building code. ADUs provide another housing option set in a neighborhood and can include garage apartments, granny flats, or mother-in-law cottages. Competition winner will be awarded $3,000.

Not trying to scare anyone but.....the news of the freezing weather is triggering me about the time in the late 80's when it was 15-20 degrees for a few days and it brought our city to it's knees. At one rental building alone, we had 12 busted pipes. The electricity was off and on, so no heat. You could not drive anywhere, and Home Depot had no fittings or plumbing supplies for weeks. Forget about your plumber, you won't see him for a while. I recommended cutting your water off and getting a room at the ZaZa.

Seriously we have winterized all of our projects and will be cutting off water to all rental properties late Sunday depending on temperatures. Please stay put and be safe.
