Happy Thursday from the Modern B&B check out our Fourth of July tree today. The city is doing work, putting in an ADA sidewalk and tearing out our sidewalk and moving our water. Meters we have two Argentinian Guess, Vietnam vets and his wife, a young lady who got a job for Chevronand it’s looking for an apartment a couple with a cute six month old baby and who knows who else will pop in the door this evening. We have been in business for a little less than 24 years and so many great people it’s unbelievable.

This was a long time ago. I’ve recovered those chairs since then.

We have a nice full house this weekend with the fabulous Miguel Ángel Rios artist he is originally from Argentina and always has his art at the Cicardi Gallery… We have a couple from Dallas. a couple from Austin to girls going to the drake and a wine maker from anew Zealand.

Hey, if anybody’s coming in for the marathon Modern B&B has a couple of rooms still available. The marathon rate is 125 a night plus tax it is the weekend of 13 January. Happy running.

Has great guests at the table my view of Lone star college has change we had a professor of bio sciences who waxed poetic about algae and meal worms eat styrofoam etc it was fascinating and he clearly loves his job and students it turned out the ladies at the table had defined in common with him and they took a picture together and sent it to the friend small world indeed

Hello Tuesday we have a guy from Brazil staying for a month he is a pilot learning English in Houston funny that I just got back from Rio and I’ve been trying to learn a little Portuguese.
