Remember when?

The Rose has come so far over the past 38 years. Beginning with two women who’d seen far too many late-stage breast cancer diagnoses, we’ve grown to include two clinics and five mobile mammography coaches, proudly serving 43 counties in Southeast Texas. We hope you’ll enjoy a few throwback photos from then and now!

We mourn the loss of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, a true friend of The Rose. In 2012, she bravely shared details about her battle with breast cancer, and in that same year, she introduced legislation to provide research and education for triple-negative breast cancer.

Throughout the years, Congresswoman Lee championed women's access to quality care and presented several proclamations to The Rose.

Her dedication to public service and advocacy for breast health will always be remembered. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones during this time of grief.
