What is JUNETEENTH you ask?

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is observed annually on June 19th. The holiday marks the date in 1865 when Union Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced the end of slavery, enforcing the Emancipation Proclamation issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863. The proclamation had little impact in Texas due to the minimal presence of Union troops to enforce it. Juneteenth, therefore, symbolizes the effective end of slavery in the United States and is also known as Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, and Black Independence Day.

For years Juneteenth has been celebrated with various activities, including parades, festivals, educational events, and family gatherings, focusing on African American culture and history. The holiday has gained broader recognition in recent years, with increasing awareness and efforts to promote it as a day of reflection, education, and celebration of African American freedom and achievements. In 2021, President Joe Biden signed legislation making Juneteenth a federal holiday.

Here are the requirements for the model

1. Clients hair must be full in all areas/no thinning or bald spots.

2. Client must have a fairly full hair line (no alopecia)

3. Clients hair must be at least 6 inches long

4. Client must have natural colored hair (black or brown)

5. Client must purchase the hair from our salon , The hair is $300. The hair type is raw Cambodian or Burmese hair. I will choose the hair we’ll used after seeing you in person.

6. A deposit of $100 is required to book the appointment, the remaining balance is due the day of.

7. The client will receive a signature silk press, protein and olaplex treatment, hydrotherapy/steam treatment, a trim or hair cut, tape In installation, cut and style.

8. Afterpay and Affirm is accepted 👌🏾

Level up your hair game ladies ✨ Bring in the New Year with fierce luxury with flawless sew-in extensions.! Traditional Sew-Ins are still my favorite of all. They provide a natural looking way to wear extensions without the worry of frequent maintenance of lace closures, and lace frontals. It is also considered a protective style because most of the clients hair is braided neatly, and put away under a net. The net ultimately protects the clients hair from the thread, and allows the client to get more wear out of the sew in without damaging their natural hair. The schedule for January is OPEN!
