The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period opens in just two months (October 15-December 7). This is the period where if you are already enrolled in Medicare, you can make changes to your Medicare plan coverage.
Changes you may make during AEP include the following:
-Switch from Original Medicare to an Advantage plan or vice versa.
-Switch to an Advantage Plan where you choose whether to have prescription drug coverage or not.

This Juneteenth, Pharmacist Rotational Interns Adeline Torres and Soonmo Kwon, along with Graduate Intern Daniel Listiyo and Pharmacist Reeka Hazenstab, set up a table at Emancipation Park’s 'Health Is Wealth' Health Fair!

Our dedicated team woke up early to provide the community with free blood pressure and glucose screenings. The health fair also offered a variety of additional health screenings and nutrition information to support a healthier community.

Community leaders came together to support the event and participated in two panels discussing ways to improve access to mental and maternal health care.

Legacy is proud to be part of such meaningful initiatives and looks forward to participating in future health fairs to educate and spread awareness along with valuable resources throughout Houston.

Please remember that all Legacy locations will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day, with the exception of Legacy Southwest Campus. Our Legacy Southwest Campus located at 6441 High Star 77074 will be available to address pediatric walk-ins from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Montrose Pharmacy will be open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Sharpstown Pharmacy will be open 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Lyons Pharmacy will be closed.

All locations will resume regular clinic hours on Tuesday, May 28.
