Volunteers For Good in full force!

Since Hurricane Beryl slammed Houston, we have been focused on our NYL families and helping where we could in our respective neighborhoods. Today was our first opportunity to come together as a team in support of our community! A group of us spent the afternoon at the Houston Food Bank preparing meals to be distributed to those in need. Thank you to all that helped us today!

Houston Team- join us at the GO on 7/11 for our “cool off and charge your devices party” all day!

Lunch will be at 12:30 and games from 1-2 in the training room! Come casual and bring your family and your favorite game!

We are stronger together and can beat Beryl’s chaos!!

Our agents and staff joined together to make much needed care packages for cancer patients (and their nurses) as they navigate their fight against cancer. The recent storms in Houston tried to stop us but we prevailed in helping our CanCare family! 💞

We spent the day volunteering at the Children's Museum Houston!

One of our games was geared towards the parents and the kiddos loved cheering on their parents as they attempted to hold all 6… “Life has LOTS of Financial Obligations! How many can you hold at a time without letting one drop?” Events like this help us provide support/laughter/rejuvenation to the families in our community when they need it the most… no storm can stop our team!!

Last night was a milestone moment for some of our Financial Service Professionals as they officially kicked off their journey as a Financial Professionals with New York Life. We were overjoyed to have their friends, family, peers, and loved ones join us at their ribbon-cutting event to learn more about what they do and how they can be a financial resource to the communities they serve.

This week we had the incredible opportunity to host a few FULL days of celebration and learning with our Cultural Market leaders from New York Life Home Office!

We began with a full house and packed agenda of learning! Then each market manager hosted small group sessions and individual meetings with our team. Our 2 day event concluded with an evening celebration where we hosted a Career Opportunity Networking Event. It was inspiring to meet so many talented individuals eager to learn more about the career opportunities we offer here at New York Life. From sharing experiences to discussing backgrounds, the connections made were truly invaluable. The delicious bites and drinks at Churrasco’s made the evening even more enjoyable.

The kids came in ready to tackle the day. They received an introduction to life insurance and financial guidance! Then got exposure to how our AMAZING administrative team supports their parents and their effort to protect families in our community. The kids were fingerprinted, had mock interviews, made Mother’s Day cards ❤️, delivered mail, had compensation training, they filled out policy delivery receipts, practiced introducing themselves with a strong voice, firm handshake, and handing out their business card. They even got to attend a little bit of the Leadership Team’s Monthly plan meeting!
