Feeding Displaced Industry Employees in Houston on Tuesday, March 31st. David Berry CEO of MyECOPlanet have teamed up with Jerry Lasco, the CEO of Lasco Enterprises to figure out what we can do to help displaced industry workers not only at his concepts but also around the Houston area. I donated $1,000 and he matched my $1,000 donation and we were able to feed well over 200 displaced industry workers at no cost to them. Chef Beto at The Tasting Room made a family style lasagna dinner with a salad that was enough to feed a family of four. We had a line of cars wrapped around the parking lot filled with displaced industry workers waiting to get food to take home to their families. We are doing it again this Tuesday from 5-7pm at The Tasting Room at Uptown Park. Our goal is to provide homemade lasagna dinners to over 500 people.
