Let"s start by introducing you to our company; Miller's Vintage Shabby Chic Event Rentals, LLC. We are the Miller's, Kevin, and Terri Miller. If you were to ask Kevin, he would tell you he is the "Braun" behind this business, He picks things up, he puts things down... Where I tell him to, of course. My role? Well, I tell Kevin where to put things down. That would make me the designer. lol...but seriously, we are a small, family-owned and operated business, located in Howell Michigan. Our business story begins in the summer of 2015, you see we are the parents of 5 beautiful daughters and as of right now...three sons-in-law, and welcoming another this May 2017. As you can imagine, having three married daughters, all with different tastes and ideas as to what the "Perfect day" would look like... put us at a huge advantage when it comes to the experience needed to plan and decorate a wedding. After all three weddings were done and over, we realized a couple of very important things; First of all...
YOUR TIME IN INVALUABLE AND CANNOT BE REPLACED. It is true we all, me included, do our best to stay within our given budget with a "we can do it ourselves", attitude. We attempt to save money by putting ourselves out there to work the wedding instead of hiring the right people for the job. This Leaves the parents, friends and family the job of taking time away from what is really important in that day, the Bride and the Groom. We attempt to handle all the details by ourselves without realizing just how time consuming it all is. The rough part of all of this is that the day after the wedding is the day we realize exactly what we just missed. This is a day for the Bride and Groom to honor all of the family and friends who have brought them to this place. It is also a time for all loved ones to gather and honor the Bride and Groom. This is the perfect time to let someone else handle the decor details for you. We had also learned that though you may have a perfect vision of what your day may look like, it is difficult to make it all come together in a way that speaks to your guest as to who you both are as a couple. Realizing the day after your event, that your money would have been better spent (and saved) in other ways is absolutely heart breaking.

What’s on my mind? Well let me tell you, THIS GORGEOUS WEDDING! Congratulations Kelsey and Chris! With a short set up time available all of us vendors pitched in to bring it all together. Credit to Blossoms on Main for the beautiful centerpieces and head table, Sugar Beans Bake Shop for the simple elegance ( and unbelievable flavors) cupcakes! Photo backdrop is new to Millers Event Rentals, as well as the Ceremony arbor in the Conservatory. Huge thank you to the Royal Park Hotel and their staff for their superior management skills in directing the entire process… fantastic job everyone!

We had the absolute pleasure of staging the Rustic escapes LLC wedding barn in Albion this weekend. What a beautiful venue. The owners Katie and Steve Miller are the best! So accommodating and friendly. Every single thing they do has their whole heart into it. If you’re looking for a fun, very cool wedding barn this is definitely something you should check into. The price is amazing… three day rental that comes with a house to stay in!! Unbelievable value!! Thank you Katie and Steve for a wonderful time this weekend!

We had the opportunity along side Heirloom Event Studio, to produce another show stopper airport wedding! Romantic, modern elegance was the theme of the day and it was magnificent. But wait! There’s MORE! What if I also told you that this same company will also assist you in design/styling of your perfect wedding to make it a one of a kind event? Oh, and let’s not forget the most important thing...what if I also told you that this company will deliver, set up, stage out, return and break down annnnnnd, haul away all of these items so that you do not have to “work” your own wedding? What if I told you that this company can do that for a price that is most often less expensive than the cost of a florist alone? (We also provide a large selection of high end silk and greenery for your floral needs) WELL...MILLER’S VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC EVENT RENTALS, LLC is that company!!! We do not so much “Rent” our inventory. What we do is provide you a “Service”, which happens to supply you with whatever it is you would like to use at your wedding. What you are paying for is many hours of planning, delivery, setup and breakdown and haul away.

It is unfortunate that so many brides do not realize how fast their wedding day will go by and how little time they will have to complete all of the task that will be required in a do-it-yourself wedding. Miller’s would like to save you from that regret. We realize that all brides want to be “hands on” during the wedding planning process, and we totally respect that. You call all the shots, we are there for you from beginning to end, working for you, making YOUR wedding dreams come true. This day is way too important for you to miss a single detail because you and your friends and family were too busy “working” your day. We take the work out of it for you. Not to mention, do our very best to make the planning process FUN & STRESS FREE!
