After viewing a handful of houses in the last few weeks, my clients decided to write on Sunday. Despite dealing with sick kiddos and an ER trip, we got everything done and submitted Sunday night. Monday afternoon I got to make the exciting call that their offer was accepted!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about one of my favorite places to eat, so this is long overdue. I’m a picky eater and have high standards for the food I do eat (especially pizza)! Thankfully I have two favorite pizza places - one here in Hudson and one in Menomonie. Bricks Neapolitan Pizza is my favorite pizza place in Hudson, hands down. All the food is delicious, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy. I constantly refer all my clients to go eat there after a showing or consult, and they’ve never been disappointed. So, take a night off of kitchen duty and go eat some delicious food at Bricks! 🍕🍕
3 for 3 this week (technically in 48 hours) was definitely fun! Finally got to call my buyers yesterday with the exciting news…they got an accepted offer for the second time on the same house! You read that right, second accepted offer on the same house. 🤨 Story to follow next month….
The theme this last weekend was repeat clients (my absolute favorite thing!). We did a lot of driving, looked at a lot of homes and had a lot of fun. The best was definitely letting them know they got under contract! So incredibly excited to see what they do to this house. 🏡

In addition to a 90th Birthday celebration, Pustol Realty also donated a raffle prize for ‘Thee Brad Hoyt Memorial Fishing Tournament’. The raffle prize consisted of an insulated cooler bag filled with chips, candy, jerky, sunflower seeds, insulated wine tumblers and wine. The perfect grab and go snack bag or perfect for a boat date night 😉 Congratulations to the 1st place winners, all the participants and raffle prize winners! Closing Day = My FAVORITE Day! x2!! I’ve already said it, so no need to say my expectations when working with clients that are also friends. Since last year, my clients and I have been talking about them selling their home. We didn’t know the full plan but knew it was going to be happening. A few months ago we created a timeline and hit the ground running. While in the process of getting ready to list and then officially list, we were also viewing homes in MN. Before we even went on the market, they got under contract. The timing worked out perfectly as we got their home under contract shortly after and we did a same day closing on both their buy and sell. It was a sprint to the finish line the week of closing, including packing and loading the UHaul in the rain (I got lucky and stayed inside to help clean). I’m so incredibly excited for my clients on this new and exciting adventure! Cheers to my fantastic clients, the sellers, the buyer, the agents, Gcs Title and Jaime Wambach!
On Saturday, Pustol Realty got the opportunity to be a sponsor for the Boyceville Cucumber Race. This race includes a 1 mile and 5K walk/run. It was so fun to make up the baskets for the winners! The theme is always pickles, so the baskets had dill pickle cashews, dill pickle sunflower seeds, dill pickle chips, a pickle sucker and of course a jar of pickles. The baskets also included a gift card to Buck Shot Bar or C&J's Candy Store & Scoop Shoppe Menomonie. Congrats to all the participants and the Boyceville Public Library for another successful race!
Closing Day = My FAVORITE Day! Especially when your clients are friends. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I’ll be the first to admit that working with people you know can be tricky. My standards and expectations I hold myself to are high, and I add even more pressure to myself when it’s people I know. The flip side of that, is usually you know these people really well and you can use that to your advantage. A few months ago a little birdy told me some friends of ours were planning on selling their home and moving out west. I immediately wanted more info. I reached out and asked what was going on. They let me know they already had an agent in mind - which I fully respect - and I told them I’d be happy to help if needed. I ended up having a zoom listing appointment with them and we worked backwards on their timeline. After a few days, I was lucky enough to get hired for the job. We listed their place on a Friday and by Saturday they were under contract. We hit a minor bump in the road, but with the help from another friend, it got taken care of. This Monday my clients officially sold their home in WI and bought their new home in Oregon! Cheers to my clients on embarking on this new adventure! We can’t wait to visit. 🏡🏔

Closing Day = My FAVORITE DAY!! Especially when it’s a past client referral! (I’m two days late on this post, but still wanted to post.) About 6 months ago I got a call from Jonathan saying he was referred to me from some past clients who closed with me in January 2021. He was looking to purchase a new home and needed an agent who could help and asked if I could. Without missing a beat, I of course told him I’d help! We immediately got the ball rolling. He reached out to my lender partners and got a second opinion on a loan and we started house hunting. At the end of April on a whim we went to check out this home. Unknown to me, it was a muddy mess and worst of all - 7 chickens. My previous clients were at the showing and know how much I fear chickens (no idea why). So they were kind enough to stay on “chicken duty” while we toured the home and property. The chickens must have been good luck because by my clients taking the chickens, we got an accepted offer. Fast forward to Monday, and my client got to close! I can’t wait to see what they do with this home, outbuildings and land. To say it was a pleasure and honor to help him is an understatement! Cheers to my amazing client, the sellers, a fantastic agent on the other side and my rockstar lender for getting this one closed! And a special thanks to my past clients for the referral! 🍾🏡🐓
