"Methane comes from the drilling and processing of oil, gas and coal, with a boom in fracking causing a rash of new gas projects this century. The court proceedings kick off at 9:00 a.m. at the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse (14th and Clay St., Oakland). Seating is limited, so arrive early.

Our latest alert focuses on this week's International Court of Justice hearing on South Africa's charge that Israel's actions in Gaza constitute genocide. The hearing will take place Thursday and Friday in The Hague. We have also joined more than 1,050 organizations in signing the "Organizational Sign-on Letter Calling on States to Support South Africa's Genocide Convention Case Against Israel at the International Court of Justice.” There is a link to the letter and case information in the alert.
