Making a cake after not making anything for a while is a struggle. Especially when you end up more in a time crunch than expected. Here is my cake of the weekend, and here’s to hoping the new year brings a little more patience out for me in baking 🥂🍻

I think this is my most unique request yet. 🧆🐺🌕🎨

For those of you that aren’t aware I have relocated to Columbia, SC. My husband accepted a position that was impossible to turn down. Once we found a home down here, I also accepted a full time position (not at all cake related).
(This is the first decorated cake I have made in two months!) We are still settling in, so I am slowly getting myself back into the cake game from this short break. I will still be happy to accept cake orders from home, but advanced notice will be necessary, and unfortunately orders would have to include a delivery fee appropriate for the distance. Thank you for the support and the help you have given me with the opportunities to grow as a baker.
If anyone who has tried anything from me and is willing to write a review, it would be greatly appreciated as I start from scratch in an all new home and city! 🏡🌃
