We are delighted to join the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in celebrating National Speech-Language-Hearing Month (NSLHM). During NSLHM we raise awareness about communication disorders and the significant role our gifted Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play in providing life-changing treatment. We appreciate the hard labor and commitment of our SLPs to assist our patients and residents attain their full potential. Our dedicated SLPs help improve speech, enhance swallowing safety, and reduce cognitive-communication challenges through customized rehabilitation and therapy. We recognize their expertise improves the quality of life for patients and allows residents to maintain dignity and independence.
Our CEO, Steve Nee, kicked off the Conference as a panelist on the topic of "Inflection Point: Five Pressing Priorities to Position SNFs for the Future." The panel discussed the five key areas where long-term care providers must focus their efforts to remain relevant in the changing healthcare landscape.
