Effective this fall, our student health care provider will be Broad Top Health and Wellness. We have chosen to partner with Broad Top to meet the needs of our campus community and to bolster our broader community by supporting local providers dedicated to serving the Huntingdon area. Broad Top will maintain student access to essential healthcare while expanding service opportunities for students. A health leader in our community, Broad Top was recently selected as the area’s best medical center by readers of the Huntingdon Daily News and as the 2023 Access Enhancer awardee and Health Disparities Reducer awardee by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
In collaboration with Broad Top, we will open a new and improved health center for students and the larger community at the College-owned Sill Business Center. Students will benefit from extended hours of operation, a dedicated emergency medical phone line, access to mental health providers, and additional medical professionals located within walking distance or a short drive from the college.
Our new operational model with Broad Top aligns with many other colleges and provides students with full access to high-quality healthcare.
We value the health of our students and aim to provide an environment where they can thrive. Through this change, we look forward to providing students with enhanced health services on campus and broader access within our community.
