Hey y'all! Just a heads up, we will be waiting until February to start Shuffle Shop as well. See you next month!

Good evening everyone! We're postponing the start of Engineering the Blues until February.

We've decided that we need a little extra time to develop what's next for EtB, which will be the start of a more formal class-like structure instead of a practice group, at least for a little while, to help foster the batch of new dancers we've seen coming to EtB the last few months!

We'd also like to see some more new faces this year, so INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! We'll come back to you with February dates as soon as we have them, but we look forward to dancing with you so soon!

Hey y'all! Here's our monthly calendar for September. Come dance with us!

Shuffle Shop Balboa Practice Group is still happening every other Monday! Last night's topic was fancy footwork. For the next class, we will work on long arm turnout fundamentals. Hope to see you in two weeks (5/8 @ 7 PM)!

Next Monday is Engineering the Blues, and stay tuned for the topic.

More Shuffle Shop is coming your way tomorrow night! We put on the brakes and did a night of Slow Bal last week, but we will be back to our usual speed tomorrow at 7!

We will also be doing a quick discussion on the future of Shuffle Shop and would love input from you all. Come out to the dance to find out more, or stay tuned here.

So I apparently didn't make July's Shuffle Shop a recurring event and just want to inform everyone I'll be at Mill Kat every Friday this month, not just last Friday! Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks to all of our dancers, teachers, and DJs for making this endeavor so successful this far! However, Shuffle Shop is in need of teachers and DJs for the next few weeks, and we're putting out the call!

If anyone would like to teach or DJ, please contact Kenneth Long or comment on this post.
