Peake Screen Printing & Embroidery is hosting a T-shirt design competition for all Huntsville creatives! 🎨

This is a great opportunity for local artists, designers, and students to see their work produced. For designers who work primarily digitally, this is your chance to consider how color, size, and texture influence your design process.

To enter the competition, just create a design inspired by something local that you love. Use the shirt and ink color limitations provided. Designs are accepted October 6th- November 3rd at https://www.peakescreenprinting.com/huntsville-ink--new

Don't forget to consider your audience when creating your design! If you are a part of a local small group, club, team etc., use this as a chance to run a risk free presale on unique design tailored toward your group.

* Must be reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfill obligations.
* Must be capable of standing and walking for an extended period of time on shop floor.
* The ability to follow directions and be meticulous.
* Participate in educational opportunities that are job related if needed.
* Be able to read English, be meticulous, and complete simple math.
* Examining and inspecting stock items for defects and reporting damage. Checking product count with the work orders to ensure accuracy.
* Required to lift and carry loads of up to 25-50 pounds on a frequent basis.
* Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work area, cleans and maintains supplies, tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* The candidate must be capable of working independently, as well as in support of other team members.

Experience is not necessary. Without experience you will begin in a support role transitioning to full time screen printer as training progresses if no experience is possessed.

Skills required:

* The ability to learn to operate screen printing equipment. Manual and automatic textile presses, decal printing, and flatgood printing.
