The kindergarten buddy program is always a huge hit with the littles and the bigs! Watching these students interact and form relationships throughout the year is touching and precious!

Our Little Linc kids are working hard this year and doing an amazing job! A BIG thank you to all of our wonderful teachers who have been pouring into them everyday!

⭐️ NEIGHBOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

Help us welcome Kristina and her 2 daughters to Lincoln North! While at Lincoln, Kristina’s main goals are to grow spiritually, increase her financial literacy, and improve her parenting and communication skills. We hope that her time at Lincoln allows her the capacity to accomplish these things and more! Pray for Kristina and her family as God moves in their lives.

📚Lincoln Academy is so excited to have Miss Ella Christ working in Learning Lab (our after school program) this year. She is a precious young lady who loves Jesus and children!

LEARNING CAN BE FUN!! This week our 8th grade students observed a chemical reaction when they combined substances to make glue! Their scientific minds were impressed!

A HUGE Thank You to Whitesburg Christian Academy for their willingness to let our students use their Promethean Panels! The boards are interactive and engaging and the students are LOVING them!

Our kids at Little Linc are full swing into the school year and they are doing amazing! Every year we send our families home with a bible for their child and we would love your help in doing that! This month’s theme was Back To School Splash for Community Night with a slip and slide, a splash pad, a wading pool and water balloons. Together we enjoyed walking tacos, drinks, and popsicles.

Community Night is a monthly gathering of both Lincoln neighborhoods coming together for family friendly activities. We hope to see even more families at our next community night in September! Stay tuned for more details.

Lincoln Academy went back to school! 🏫📝📕 We have had the best start and are expectant for all God is going to do this school year. Please pray for our teachers, staff, and students that God will move in a big way this year!

Today marks the start of a new chapter at Lincoln Village Ministry. Welcome our new Executive Director, Jess Ahrens! While this is a new role for her, Jess is in no way new to Lincoln. She has served faithfully as part of our Field Staff team and most recently as the Field Staff Director. We know that with her leadership, passion, and vision, God will continue to do mighty things in and around our community.

There is no way to summarize our deep gratitude for Lakshmi Nallamala and all that she has brought to Lincoln. We know that God has worked through her faithfulness to achieve great things for His kingdom. We are eternally grateful for her years of leadership and most importantly, friendship. Lakshmi will now serve as Executive Mentor to Jess.

Please join us in praying for both Jess and Lakshmi during this transition and beyond!

Help us welcome our newest Lincoln Neighbor, Ardemise! She and her 4 year old daughter moved to Lincoln with her main goals being financial stability, communication and parenting skills, and spiritual growth. Join us in praying for Ardemise as God moves in and through her during her time here!

Did you know that June 16, 2024 was a special day at Lincoln? It was the day we celebrated all of our Fathers living here at Lincoln. Did you know at Lincoln we have single dad’s with their child/children as well as nuclear families? Fathers are important! According to Focus on the Family, God designed dads to have a unique influence on their families:

A father’s strength can be powerful
A dad’s words can be fueling and inspirational
Hugs from a dad can be deeply comforting
A dad’s smiles can instill joy and confidence
Time with a dad can be fun and productive
A dad’s physicality can be challenging
A dad’s guidance can be life-changing and foundational
A father’s correction can be life-saving and life-giving
Adventures with a dad can be exciting and memorable

At Lincoln, we recognize that fathers are a blessing to their children. Small gift bags were delivered to our awesome dad‘s living at Lincoln as a reminder that they are special and are a blessing to their children every day – not just on Father’s Day!
