So on Jan. 6th we cut our first Rosca d Reyes at Charrito's Bar & Grill and made you guys our loyal customers be a part of this amazing tradition. This Friday Feb 2nd is Dia d La Candelaria, a.k.a Candlemas Day. On this day baby Jesus was presented at the temple on the 40th day. This is a day of feasting!

If you participated in cutting la Rosca with us on the 6th you were told to keep your baby and bring it Feb 2nd to receive another gift!! Soooo this Friday Feb 2nd bring your day during Lunch or Dinner and receive another gift!

Roads are a little better today!
Please if you decide to come please use caution and drive slowly.

We'll we tried but it is unsafe for our employees to drive to work. Please if you don't have to drive, don't. The city continues to close down roads and hills and they are not all are listed on there website. We have employees coming all the way from New Market, South & North Huntsville and Madison City. Lots of cars are sliding and getting stuck and it's just not worth it.

Just in case you needed to know today is Wednesday January 17th.
As of now we are thinking of opening at 3 p.m.
We hope that the roads are a little bit better by then.

Update!
Unfortunately, it is not safe for anyone to be driving out, it is not worth the risk of our employees. The roads are just too slick at the moment and with the temperature not helping we have decided that we need to CLOSE today Tuesday Jan. 16th.

Tomorrow January 6th is Dia de Reyes!!! (Kings day)👑👑
A.k.a Epiphany Day.
The day that the 3 Kings or the 3 Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem to celebrate baby Jesus.
Pictured below is the Rosca de Reyes or King Cake. It is a Mexican tradition to cut the Rosca on this day and if you are blessed with a baby inside of your piece then on Feb 2nd you come back with platter of your choice, usually tamales!!! But since we know many of you don't know how to make tamales 🤭🤭 we will be gifting you something! 🤗🤗.

Tomorrow January 6th from 2p.m. come by the restaurant and cut your piece of Rosca de Reyes. If you are blessed with a baby inside your piece of rosca, then you will be receiving a small gift from us!!!

So come by and get your piece while they last!!!

Well 2023 was a year to remember. We lost a dare brother, we had illnesses but overall we came out!
All in all you guys showed up all year long, we think you!
