Meet Selena Pitts!

Selena was born and raised right here in North Alabama. She’s a momma and wife, and nothing motivates her more than her family!

Meet Renee Schumm!

Renee was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Guntersville, Alabama a few years ago with her husband and three children. She fell in love with the area on their very first trip to Guntersville and knew this is where she wanted to live because nothing beats the lake life and the southern hospitality!

Renee was a stay-at home mom for 10 years and after years of dedicating her life to her family, she made the decision to pursue her passion for Real Estate. She has a love for interior design, decorating, remodeling and building. Meet John Matthews!

John graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Supply Chain Management. During his time at Auburn, he was a member of the Auburn Cycling Club. He worked at Auburn Outdoors as a bicycle technician facilitating the teaching of bicycle maintenance to others.

After graduating from Auburn, John returned to his hometown of Albertville and now works as a REALTOR® serving Northeast Alabama. John is happily married with a son, four cats, and two dogs. Outside of real estate and spending time with family, he enjoys outdoor projects with his tractor, mountain biking, tinkering with things with wheels or wings, and aviation.

Sharon has been a resident of Madison County for 39 years and lives on her parents' farm. They were both born and raised in Madison and Jackson County, so she has deep roots in the area. She's been married to her husband, Billy, for 31 years and they have two children.

Since her first job as a teenager at Kmart, then in banking and insurance, Sharon has worked in customer service and has always enjoyed helping people. When she has free time, she loves to entertain family and friends and spend time at the beach any opportunity she has.

Meet Taylor McGeorge!

Taylor was raised in Sardis City, AL and is a graduate of Sardis High School. She now resides in McClarty, AL with her husband (Jordan) and three children (Braylee 10, Knoxx, 7, and Emori, 7 months). Taylor enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends!

Meet Barbie Garner!

Barbie was raised in a military family and moved every 2 to 3 years, so she got to see and do a lot before her high school graduation. From there she attended Auburn University where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. After graduating college, Barbie started working at UAH and has been an advisor in the College of Engineering ever since.

In 2010, Barbie married her best friend, Jon (remember him from yesterday?), and she now has a beautiful daughter that calls me ‘mom’ and a grown step-son and his wonderful family in my life. Barbie and Jon also have 3 dogs that complete their family.

In her free time, Barbie enjoys doing crafts, making wire-wrap jewelry, dabbling in photography, and spending time with her family. Not having enough to keep her busy, she attended Real Estate school and received her real estate license in April 2021. She enjoys helping others and looks forward to doing that for years to come.

Meet Jon Garner!

Jon was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. At 17, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served four years on active duty as an electro-optical technician. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a year and San Diego for two years. In 2003, Jon joined the Huntsville Police Department and he has been a police officer for 19 years now. As a police officer, Jon has received the Lifesaving Medal, the Meritorious Achievement Medal, and the Medal of Valor. He was nominated for the Alabama State Medal of Honor and recognized by Governor Riley.

Jon has a deep interest in cars, trucks, or pretty much anything with a motor, and prefers to do all his own mechanic work. He is a certified welder, and can MIG, TIG, and stick weld.

Jon has been married for almost twelve years and has two children. He loves doing everything with his family! He started in real estate a little over two years ago because he wanted to do something unrelated to, and independent, of police work. He also trains in jiu-jitsu at Triad Martial Arts in Cullman, AL.

Today our crew took time out to attend a 'Meet the Broker' luncheon, officially welcoming Tabitha Tittle into her new role as Qualifying Broker of our Decatur office.

Brittany recently stepped into the real estate world, joining our team at Leading Edge - Arab, Al, after graciously serving her community as an educator. Although Brittany LOVED teaching, she has always been fascinated with real estate. She previously worked with Clayton Homes (where she was mostly behind-the-scenes) when she ended up assisting a newly married couple who eventually found their perfect home with Clayton. Even after Brittany started her teaching career, she often recalled that couple and real estate sales remained in the back of her mind.

This summer, Brittany decided to finally take the next step. She signed up for real estate classes, passed the test and HERE WE ARE! Meet Hope Artiga!

Hope has worked in real estate for over five years, being a licensed Realtor® for two years. She was born and raised in Arab, only leaving to attend college at The University of West Alabama obtaining a bachelor's degree in business management. Her favorite part of real estate is the “aha moment” when her clients find a home they imagine their lives in!

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, and their two little boys - especially when they’re at the beach!
