The recipes at Mazzara's are faithful dishes passed down from generations, particularly from Stephanie's grandparents. The Mazzaras were authentic Italian cooks hailing from Sicily. Everything is scratch made and with only fresh ingredients.

Mazzara’s Italian Kitchen is a fast-casual restaurant that serves fresh, made-in-house pasta, sauces, and other traditional Italian fare. The menu will be managed by Chef Rene Boyzo who has received much praise and media accolades from his position as head chef at Purveyor. He is working closely with family recipes from owner Stephanie’s own kitchen that have been passed down for generations.
“Mazzara is a family name—more specifically, my family name,” said Stephanie. “Our new Italian eatery is named after my great grandparents Stefano and Carmela Mazzara who were Italian cooks from Sicily. Our menu will feature favorites like chicken parmigiana and lasagna as staples, but my great-grandmother Carmela’s eggplant rollatini will be something everyone will be watching for. Service and quality is our trademark at the Church Street Family and this will be fast, casual service with the high-quality food our customers have come to expect from us.”
Mazzara’s also features Giustino’s Gelato, a made-from-scratch gelateria created by Huntsville local, Justin Rosoff. Since 2016, Justin has expanded his skills by taking classes in Bologna, Italy, in order to craft the artisanal hard and soft-serve gelato, pastries, and gelato pops that is available at Stovehouse. Patrons can also enjoy seasonal sorbets, biscotti, rainbow cookies, almond cookies and Italian coffee. Dairy- and gluten-free options will available. All gelato will be made in small batches on premise so guests can watch Justin create the desserts in person.
