Congrats to Club President Colby Winters for placing second today in his AG Cat 2 at the Alabama Regional Go Nuts XC race! He fought cramps and a lost water bottle but was able to finish safely.

Great Races out at John Hunt park today racing the Rocket City Cross! Alex Ponce raced the Mountain bike category and Colby Winters raced the Cat 4/5 and Mountain category.

Awesome Race today! Ethan got Third place and Ben got Second with only a handful of seconds between the two. Great job guys!

Ben is all ready to go for this mornings Go Nuts Buster the Beast Enduro Race!

Club President Colby raced the Go Nuts XC race this morning but did not finish due to punctures. Tomorrow Club Treasurer, Ben Pierce, and former Club President, Ethan Rosenow, will be racing the Enduro race. Best of luck to them!

We’d like to share with you a note from a UAH student taking on an incredible challenge this summer. We wish you the best and good luck on your journey! “Hey UAH family & Cycling community,
My name is Jair Cabral, I am a senior Philosophy & Economic Major at UAH. This summer I will be cycling across the country in the 35th anniversary of The Journey Of Hope. The Journey Of Hope is a cross country cycling event hosted by The Ability experience; a 501(c)3 non-profit that fundraises to supports people living with disabilities. The 4,000 mile trek will begin this Sunday in San Fransisco and will end in Washington DC on August 13th. Along the way they team and myself will make stops volunteering at different organizations that support people with disabilities, in an effort to give back to our community and create an enables the abilities of all people.
As a cyclist I will be riding an average of 70 miles a day through some of the most beautiful and revered routes throughout the United States. If you would like to learn more or follow my journey you can follow my Instagram page and The Ability Experience on Instagram and Facebook.

Didn’t get a picture of Josh and will post results soon. But Colby ended up doing the Ultra which was 13000 ft of climbing in 126 miles in 10 hours and 40 ish minutes. Great ride boys!

Former Club Member Josh Graham and current member Colby Winters did a pre-ride today in preparation for the 100 mile Cheaha Challenge tomorrow morning! Good luck tomorrow!

RECAP DAY 5:

For our last recap day, has put up some awesome results on the mountain side over the last year with 8 podium finishes and 5 wins across the southeast in XC racing, along with a series championship!

RECAP DAY 4:

finished 2nd in her age group with a new personal best time by 9 minutes in the Olympic distance 2021 Waterfront Triathlon in Chattanooga, Tennessee!

RECAP DAY 3:

Throwing it back to the fall semester, and .the.runner went 1-2 in their division in the fall Joe Davis Crit in Huntsville, Alabama!

RECAP DAY 2:
the.runner competed at the 2021 Goose Pond Half Ironman event in Scottsboro, Alabama, placing 3rd overall with a time of 5:04!
