This week we went to Buchanan School, Mrs. Axtmann's class and did some crafting with the kids. We don't want to ruin to surprise for all the Moms who will be receiving some pretty cool Mother's Day gifts. We had a great time!

Our Friday has been busy at day services. We also spent some time at The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau preparing bags for 3rd Grade Farm Tours! We are so grateful for the opportunity and partnership with The Chamber!!

When providing 24/7 supports for people, it is easy to find a shift that works with your preferences! Cody Kirkvold is one of our night owls! He enjoys working his overnight shifts. Cody’s calm deminor is always welcoming to be around, especially when things get really busy.

The opportunity to work with, get to know, and to support individuals with development disabilities.

What is something you have learned as a DSP at CFI?
Patience; to slow down and put myself in someone else’s shoes. To treat others as I would want to be treated.

What is a favorite memory from working with CFI?
Getting to know individuals we support as I have worked with them over time.

Why should someone want to join the CFI team?
It’s a great opportunity to support others and the work you do every day has a deeper meaning beyond just making money.

Friday we got to spend some time at Madison School with Ms. Albrecht's Class making May Day baskets. We had a great time making baskets with sensory items that we will deliver on May Day to local area businesses. We would like the thank Ms. Albrecht and her class for all of their help!

On March 28th we had the greatest time giving a tour of the Industrial Park location to some of the Wolsey Wessington High School students! They were a great group of kids and we all had a lot of fun hanging out with them!
