Team Harbor out-shot Team Boyne for the 2024 Harbor Cup.
The annual Harbor Cup tournament features 12 BOYNE Golf professionals against 12 other area pros (Team Harbor), with the goal focused on raising money for local charities, as well as some friendly competition. While each side hopes to win, the event has always had a bigger meaning for the community. The Harbor Cup has raised nearly 1 million dollars over the years, which all goes to local charities. This year's beneficiaries are The Manna Food Project and First Tee of Northern Michigan.
The event is a "Ryder Cup" style match with Best Ball, Alternate Shot and Singles. The event was played this year at Bay Harbor Golf Club.
Team Harbor won the event by a final of 13.5 points to 10.5 points.

As Northern Michigan golf continues to grow, more and more people are recognizing the total golf experience that the Indian River Golf Club has to offer. Our 18-hole championship golf course is rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest as one of Northern Michigans best places to play. It measures 6,700 yards from the back tees and has a slope rating of 125. There are four different teeing areas for golfers of all calibers. Many of the golfers tell our staff that they enjoy the golf course and the facility much more than many of the big resorts in the area. We believe strongly that this is because they are receiving the same amenities that a resort offers but at half the price.
Indian River Golf Club has the best location of any championship golf club in Northern Michigan. It’s only 2 minutes off I-75 and 25 minutes from Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and Ga***rd. We offer Canadian money at par before Memorial Day & After Labor Day and twilight begins at 3:00 pm daily.
