Class 12 convened at Muscatatuck Training Center last week for a truly unforgettable LDA experience. The session included insightful presentations from Justice David, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Spencer, and Judge Granger. Participants delved into the topic of effective leadership during challenging circumstances, exploring programs like Indiana's veterans' treatment courts.

Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the distinct atmosphere of MUTC, engaging in activities ranging from a paintball fight to a guided evening tour of a historic hospital. The diverse array of experiences offered something for everyone. Thank you to Waldron Tate Bowen Land LLC, for sponsoring this very intense paintball fight.

The countdown to session five in Evansville next month has begun!

Our Associate, Katie Piscione, along with many other members of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association recently volunteered at the Gleaners Food Bank in Indianapolis. Together the group helped to provide over 3,500 meals to members of the community! WTBL is proud to be able to give back to our local community in such a tangible and impactful way.

We are thrilled to have 4 members of WTBL presenting at the annual Indiana State Bar Association’s Solo & Small Firm Conference in French Lick, Indiana. The conference will be held from May 30 - June 1, 2024 and registration is now open! As an extra incentive to register, scholarships are available to help with cost of attendance! Scholarship applications are open until March 29th and are available through various state bar sections, as well as for law students through the law schools. This is one of WTBL’s favorite events of the year and we look forward to seeing everyone down in French Lick!

We were happy to celebrate the end Brandon’s year as the Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section Council of the Indiana State Bar Association and the handing over of the reins to Adrienne Rines Hammond who will do a phenomenal job leading the YLS through another successful year!

We are excited to announce the addition of Matthew Land as a partner at Waldron Tate Bowen Land LLC! Matt brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the real estate and business law practices of WTBL. Matt previously served as a clerk at the Indiana Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Geoffrey G. Waldron Tate Bowen was honored to participate in such a wonderful program that was done in honor of Ann Marie Waldron’s father and Katie Piscione’s grandfather, Tom Waldron. In total, the program was able to raise more than $1300 and collect bikes, skateboards and scooters to donate to 90 children across the state of Indiana.

Grandfather's legacy kept alive through bike donations Derrell Waldron and Stacy Vasilak have donated bikes, skateboards and scooters to 90 kids across Northwest Indiana to honor Vasilak's late father.
