Broken Women Being Mended

Everyone needs a soft place to land, a safe place where it’s okay to be vulnerable. Suppressing and holding things in can be very unhealthy both mentally and physically. I’ve been sooo blessed in my life to have always had that place with my sister Rosalind Vaughn - Nichol aka Chubby (childhood nickname), my childhood and best friend of 61 years Helen Adams - Hoskins who recently passed on April 16th and another dear best friend of 36 years Karen Lang. I realize that everyone isn’t as fortunate.
I desire for my page Broken Women being Mended, to be that safe place for you, were you’re free to share, to be encouraged and uplifted.
We are helpers one to another, the enemy would love for you to feel hopeless and helpless and he definitely doesn’t want you healed. Divide and conquer, isolation, depression, anxiety etc.
We’ve all experienced pain and or loss at some point in our lives, don’t keep stuff bottled up, releash and allow the healing process to begin.

The Broken Women being Mended conference that was initially scheduled for April 22nd, 2023 has been postponed, it will now be held on November 4th, 2023. I apologize for the change of date, I’m going to have a hip replacement surgery on April 20th. Please keep me in your prayers, I look forward to seeing you all on November 4th! I pray that your day is filled with Love, Peace, Joy and Contentment.

I apologize that The Broken Women being Mended conference that was to take place on April 22nd 2023 has been cancelled due to me (Sue Thomas) having to have a much needed hip replacement surgery April 20th. The new date for the conference is November 4th. Please keep me in your prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

To the woman who slowly fades away.
The woman who no longer sparkles.
Is no longer herself.
Has almost forgotten who she is...
Because so much is asked of her.
And she wants to give so much.
This is for you.
To remind you that you can't be everything to everyone.
That not everyone has to like you.
That you are good just the way you are.
This is for you.
So that you know you are worthy of being loved.
Even if you choose for yourself.
Especially when you choose for yourself!
Because when you take good care of yourself.
You are an example to others.
So stop running past yourself.
Listen to your desires.
Do what makes you happy.
