Do you enjoy old media? How about creating new video? This position offers both! We are a small company specializing in media digitization and video production. We're looking for an individual who is motivated with an attention to detail, works well with customers, and enjoys the small business atmosphere. This individual will be involved in all aspects of the company and have opportunities to learn and grow.

Media Conversion / Video Editor:
- Convert video (VHS, MiniDV, 8mm) to digital
- Convert audio (tapes, reel, vinyl records) to digital
- Film conversion (the old stuff from the 30s to the 70s) to digital and editing in Premiere
- Scan photos, slides, negatives and edit them in Photoshop (PC)
- Edit a variety of projects from customer media and our productions with Premiere (PC)
- Duplication of USB drives, DVDs, CDs and disc printing
- Working with customers to accept, organize and deliver their orders
- Respond to phone calls and emails to answer customer questions

Videographer:
- Field productions include meetings, performances, demos, construction video, special events, and more (alone and in crews)
- Be able to troubleshoot and anticipate issues
- Deal with clients and explain production aspects
- Shooting video is approximately 10% of the job responsibilities, including some weekend shoots. If you aren’t interested in shooting, please don’t apply.
- Please send a video link of samples including your camera work when applying.

General Notes:
- Office schedule: 8:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday (though scheduled times can vary). This is NOT a work-from-home job.
- Video productions: Some evenings and weekends, averages less than one a month
- Time management and creativity are crucial, but must be balanced with the client’s needs and budget
- This person must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, complete them in the designated time frame, and maintain high quality standards
- We work in a relaxed, team-based atmosphere
- Good customer service skills are critical
- Must be able to speak with customers on the phone, via text, in person, and by email. Good grammar and the ability to explain details to the average customer are important.

Qualifications:
- This individual should have experience with field video production including cameras and microphones.
- Software experience with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
- Must be friendly and enjoy working with clients

We specialize in video and audio services including scanning, conversion, and duplication for consumers and corporate clients. We also shoot on location video, edit the project to client specifications, and produce the final product.
