A message from the Indiana Democratic Party to state convention delegates…

Hello State Convention Delegates,

State Convention is Saturday, and we wanted to send a few reminders to you before you arrive.

If you know someone who would like to be a guest, please have them fill out this form. We will follow up by Friday evening with confirmation of their guest status and additional details. Please note that we have limited guest seating.

Registration will begin at 7 AM ET and close at 9:30 AM ET in the hallway outside of Hall B. After 9:30 AM ET, county chairs will need to make any final alternate appointments at the registration tables. This process will close promptly at 10 AM ET. If you are an alternate, please remember to find your county chair at 9:30 AM to finish this process.

Please check our website throughout the week for any schedule or room adjustments. For example, Congressional Districts 2, 5, and 6 are in different rooms from what was mailed in the Call to Convention last month.

Since we will be conducting votes in both the morning and the afternoon, we will be checking IDs - please make sure to have one available.

A variety of activities will occur in district meetings in the morning, including: voting for State Convention Standing Committee members, national convention delegates, and presidential electors; hearing from the Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor candidates; hearing from your Congressional District candidates; hearing from Drs. Valerie McCray and Jennifer McCormick; and receiving district updates.

Lunch will be on your own. Remember, we are inviting over 2,000 of your closest Democratic friends to the area, so please keep that in mind as you plan your lunch activities!

After lunch, constituency caucus and standing committee meetings will occur. These are not required to attend, but we encourage you to stop by and learn more about the great work happening across the state.

General Session will begin at 3:00 PM, where you will hear reports from our Standing Committees, speeches from a variety of strong Democrats, and vote for our Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor candidates.

We will have a handful of water stations on-site, so please remember to bring a water bottle you can refill.

Credentials will be checked periodically throughout the day - please remember to wear them at all times while you are at the Convention Center.

Thanks,
INDems
