Verity College Education
Verity College Education is a program that helps you obtain a fully-accredited, debt-free Associate'
Verity College Education was founded in order to meet the need for higher education that helps young people obtain a college degree without going into debt or losing their Christian faith. The vision was to develop a different approach to college, one that results in an accredited bachelor’s degree in 21 months while at the same time preparing students to be Christ-like examples in the world around them.
Verity online learning is now offering an updated track with College For All. College For All offers our students some exciting new features and includes more study resources. As the name implies, College For All allows students from all differing backgrounds to apply, yet the majority of College For All staff are Verity alumni! We desire to bring Verity’s same innovative educational model to a wider market with this partnership. Check out the College For All website at https://college4allhemet.com. Throwback Thursday: Cafe' '13
Cafe' '13 holds a very special place in Verity's history. It was started by members from our '13 Class and was a smashing success! It provided a great place to study, hang-out, and, of course, grab a refreshing drink during those long study afternoons. It was also a great place for our students to learn valuable skills about how to start and run a business!
Fact: The space that was once Cafe' '13 continues to be used as a public coffee shop now run by The Hope Center at South Campus.

What would you do with an extra $5,000?
According to a study by the College Board,* college students budget up to $1,200 per year for textbooks. Multiply that by four years and that’s almost $5,000! What would you do with $5,000? With Verity’s accelerated learning style and library services included in your tuition, that’s a question you don’t need our help to answer.

Throwback Thursday: Gym Night
During the winter months, instead of the much beloved Park Night, we'd stay indoors and do Gym Night instead. It wasn't quite the same as the fresh air at the park, but it still did the trick when it came to good fellowship, a little competition, and some pre-test stress relief.

Throwback Thursday: Park Night
Whether you went to the park for the exercise, the burgers, or a chance to sneak in last minute studying, Park Night was always a wonderful break in the schedule of classes and testing. From soccer to volleyball, or the occasional dip in the creek, Park Night had something for everyone!
Park Night - the highlight of the week! Juicy burgers, fresh cookies, and all the sports you could want to help loosen up before your big testing session the next morning.
Remember those early morning chapels? Well, even though it may not have always been our student's favorite part of their day, many lives have been shaped and impacted over the years through Verity's chapels. Here's a look back at some of those moments.

Throwback Thursday: Snow Day!
A fresh layer of powder *always* meant snow sports were soon to come. Even though Indiana's not known for its slopes, our students always found other creative ways to get out and enjoy the snow.

We have some awesome staff here at Verity, so here's a closer look at one of them!
---------
As Academic Advisor, Curriculum Development, and Library Supervisor, Lauren loves answering student questions regarding their degrees and tutoring them as well. A 2016 Verity graduate, Lauren loves tutoring students in writing and history and is looking forward to beginning her Master's Degree in Adult Education through Regent University in January. When she isn't working, she can be found reading a good book or spending time with friends. And yes, she does believe that grammar is one of the coolest things in the world!
Throwback Thursday: Winter Wonderland
Did you get your white Christmas this year? Each time it snowed in Indy, South Campus became a winter wonderland. It wasn't long before snow ball fights, fort building, and snow sports would decimate the perfectly fallen snow - but it was beautiful while it lasted!

Throwback Thursday: Christmas Banquet
'Tis the season... This week, we're taking a look back at some shots from our annual Christmas Banquet. The kitchen always went all out to make this a very special (and tasty!) event.

On days where Verity had Service Hour, 4:15 would bring a mad rush of students running down the Admin Hall just in time to get started on the day's assignments! Those hours each week were some of our favorites - the halls humming with activity, vacuums, and energy. And who will ever forget Mr. Curtis's constant threat of Rock Pile?
Here's one of our favorite quotes to help encourage you today!
"Security is not found in the absence of danger, but in the presence of Jesus" - John Eldredge (author of "Wild At Heart")
Did you know that Verity has over 20 different bachelor's and associate's degrees we can help you earn?

Throwback Thursday: Verity & Good News Ministries
Some of our favorite memories are the times our students spent ministering to local children at Good News Ministries. From sports, to mentoring, to after-school tutoring, to teaching Bible lessons, Verity's students both gave and received much from these precious children.

Gabrielle E. Martin, who often goes by the nickname of "Gem," is a 2011 Verity alumna who majored in Liberal Studies. After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree, she taught English in Taiwan for 3 years before returning States-side to work for Verity in the Degree Development department. She is currently working on her Masters of Education in TESOL through distance studies with Regent University and her long term plans are to return abroad teaching English. Some of the things she can be found doing in her free time include language studies, photography, story writing, playing guitar, and forgetting that she is speaking in Chinese when someone asks a question. Her coffee preferences are almost non-existent as she will take coffee in almost any shape, form, or flavor - though she does tend to like caramel flavoring less than other coffee syrup options.
Throwback Thursday: Lake Verity
Every once in a blue moon, South Campus would grow a lake affectionately known as "Lake Verity." Of course, we couldn't wait to get out there and take advantage of our new lakefront property.

Over the years, one of the favorite highlights of each fall semester has been the Verity Harvest Fest and accompanying 5K: Run for Life to help raise money for the local Life Center. The early morning run always brought smiles to chilly faces as runners raced through Southeastway Park in Indianapolis! See if you can spot yourself in these throwback 5K photos!
