Last week, we held our first Student Ambassador meeting of 2024, and the energy was incredible! Our ambassadors are passionate, driven, and ready to make a difference in our Adult Education community.
These leaders will play a key role in supporting their peers, spreading awareness about the program, and inspiring others to achieve their educational goals. Together, we’re building a supportive and empowering environment for all our learners.

Mariela, WTAE Receptionist, is a master at customer service. She fields on average 90 calls a day and typically 25 walk-in, future students. We are so thankful for all that she does for our community!

Soraida is enrolled in our English Language Learning program and also participated in our Fall 2023 Citizenship course. This 10 week course helps prepare students for their interview and includes an N400 filing workshop.

Today we held a leadership retreat for our supervisory team. During the retreat, we were joined by Dr. Walters, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, to celebrate our amazing school leaders.
Like we always say, WTAE is a place where life takes flight. These leaders are our "pilots" and helped navigate our school to a successful year. As a team, we saw a 25% increase in enrollment and 70% of our students earning at least one Measurable Skills Gain (MSG).
