ATTENTION Parents of Incoming 7th grade Students at Decatur Middle School!!

The band department did instrument testings last week in all elementary schools, and so many of our students were interested in being a part of the band at DMS which is AMAZING!
If your student is interested, please plan to attend the Info Night this Wednesday, March 13th @ 6:30pm! We will answer any and all questions you may have about band as well as discuss how to get an instrument. Students will even have the opportunity to sign up for an instrument!

Very proud of Tristan Winderlich and Isabella Faron from DMS. They were selected and performed with the Indiana all-region Junior High Band today. The guest conductor was Nola Fillman. Great job!

DCHS Marching Band goes to semi-state today. They perform at Ben Davis High School at 4:30 pm. Go Hawks!!!

Our Marching Band & Guard is an ISSMA Semi-State finalist! Congratulations to all and we’ll see you at Ben Davis on October 21!

What a great weekend of the DC Marching Band & Guard! We're excited to continue our season next weekend at the Noblesville Invitational on Saturday, September 23, performing at 7:45pm!

Thank you DTEF for supporting this Beginning Band Camp at DMS! The students were great! Fun times!

Beginning Band Camp will have brief informances for the parents at 6:30 for the Session 1 group (Woodwinds), and 8:00 for the Session2 group (Beass and Percussion). Parents we will let you in at door 6. Students should arrive at their normal arrival time. This will occur tonight (Friday, 7/28)

It was a great start for the Beginning Band Camp. Woodwinds will end tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 6:30, so that students can experience Back to School Night.

Parents should park, and walk their child into the band room to drop the off. When your student’s session is over, parents should come into the building to pick them up as well. Please enter through door #6 for both of these procedures.

Proud of our band member Luis! After the school board meeting, he ran to the band concert to perform with the jazz band!

Congratulations to Decatur Middle School swimmer Luis Sanchez-Gonzalez, for his outstanding season as Jr. Mid-State Conf. Champ in the 400 m Freestyle & Marion Co. Champ in the 400 m Freestyle & 100 m Individual Medley! Oh and he also broke the school record!
