As the holidays approach I sit in silence and think about how I am going to enjoy the holiday season and how I am going to include self-care in my planning. Every year I knock myself out trying to find the perfect gift, missing the calm of the season. The moral of this is: DON’T BE ME! Allow yourself some grace and time to relax. This is going to be a very important part of this holiday season for me. Changing old habits and creating new traditions that serve my soul. I can only bake, wrap, shop and sing my way into a stressful season. This changes this year. I am focusing on the calm of the season. My new motto is “All will be calm.” I have watched people calm down for over five years. It fascinates me that our brains can unwind and truly relax. Tis the season to relax and get some calm.
