I want to tell you a little about who we are and how we got into the rv repair business. I'm Tammy, and pictured is my husband, Rich. Rich and I, have been together almost seven years, and married two and a half of those seven.
In 2021, Rich and I purchased a Class A, 2020 Thor Windsport coach. During covid, like most, we didn't know what tomorrow would bring, so we wanted to travel the U.S. while we could. We decided to rent the rv out when we weren't traveling, to supplement our income. What we didn't expect, was the amount of repairs that had to be done from doing so! The call you don't want to get, "I wrecked your rv", came three times! Rich grew up working alongside his uncle and grandpa developing mobile home parks, so he is handy with tools. Rich became our repairman, repairing the stairs four times, rehanging curtains or the fire extinguisher, replacing the slide out motor. He fixed everything that first year.
One day, he had enough of the corporate world and said "I think I found the job I want to do." "Oh, what's that?" I asked. "I'm going to go to school to become a certified rv technician" he said. I laughed, saying how he'd be great at it, since he does all of our repairs now anyways. Little did I know how serious he was.
Rich applied to school, in Texas, later that week. And two weeks later, he quit his job and was traveling to Texas. Talk about a leap of faith! Let me tell you, God's timing is perfect! Rich flew through the course and scored high on evert test and received his certification. I knew he could and would do great. I joined him in Texas, and I got right to work in setting up our business. I'm helping in marketing and PR, as well as keeping the office running. Rich answers all calls himself, to give each client his personal attention and expertise.
We want our clients to know we will go above and beyond to get them back on the road in a timely manner. That we will always strive for great customer service, give honest opinions and reasonable quotes. We want our clients when they leave, like they can't wait to return, to see us again.. as friends, camping together, grab a bite to eat, whether they need service or a good listening ear.
