Last night was the free outdoor Community Movie Night at Grace Church, with a licensed showing of "Prince of Egypt" and free hot dogs, popcorn, s'mores, soft drinks, & lawn games. There were 72 people present for the event, and the evening had enjoyably cool weather! 🍿

We had a great last junior high/high school youth group for the summer!

Today we welcomed Debi Harrington and Austin Krueger into our church as new members.

Thanks to our friends from sister Grace Church Anchor Point Bible Church in Muskegon Michigan driving through, we had 18 junior high and high school students tonigh at youth group!

Pastor Troy shared the gospel message by going down the “Romans road” path!

Pray for Pastor Troy this week as he is the main speaker for the juniors (8-10 year olds) at Northern Grace Youth Camp in Gillett Wisconsin!

We enjoyed Anthony and Pamala Beaulieu this past Sunday at church!
Continue to be in prayer for them as they leave for Panama in a few weeks!

Our two newest GMI families, the Tuttles and Beaulieus, are leaving for the field next month. Jonathan and Brenda Tuttle along with their daughter, Emma, will join their new GMI team members, Emiliano and Raquel Seravalli, near the town of Dolores forty-five minutes south of Nicaragua’s capital of Managua. The Seravallis and Tuttles will begin a new church planting ministry in this area to which Emiliano and Raquel just moved. Anthony and Pamela Beaulieu purchased their tickets for David, Panama where they will join the GMI team establishing the church plant, Comunidad Bíblica de la Gracia (Grace Bible Community), while considering new areas of the country to target for church planting ministries.

Both families have raised nearly all of their monthly support as they step out in faith to begin a new life and ministry. If you have been considering it, now would be a great time to begin supporting either or both of these families monthly so they can reach their budget goals to be as effective as possible serving the Lord cross culturally.

Today a dozen ladies from Grace Church went to lunch in Fountain Square and then visited the Garfield Park Conservatory, which was built 117 years ago. Gorgeous tropical plants, colorful flowers, & lunch! 😃 All seemed to enjoy.

We had a successful turnout for our first Retiree Bible study this past Friday!
A good little turnout for our young adults Axe throwing event this afternoon as well!

We have decided to cancel all Sunday morning services because of the ice and temperatures.

We had a great church service followed by an excellent fifth Sunday meal to close the 2023 year!

After Pastor Troy preached in the Sunday morning service on Christmas Eve, a gift from the congregation was presented to him and to Tiffany. 😀

We want to wish our Grace Church family a Merry Christmas.

Last night Grace Church and Bethel Revival Church held a combined Christmas program at Grace Church. The Bethel church is comprised of families that have relocated from Myanmar, and it was neat to hear "Joy to the World" in their language. After the program both congregations enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate. (True LaVier has been making the latter for the Grace Church Christmas programs for more than 50 years, and it is delicious! 😀)

We had an excellent turnout this evening for our summer picnic with Bethel Revival Church.
We at Grace Church had a great time of fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ through food, games and laughs!

Excellent Sunday this morning as Pastor Troy begins to wind down our 2 Thessalonians sermon series as well as welcomed TCM missionary Genesis Maraat.
We closed our morning off by having our 5th Sunday Fellowship meal.
