We have an immediate opening for an experienced heavy-duty vehicle technician to become an integral part of our team. Our Field Service Technician position is responsible for on-site installation, inspection, diagnosis and repair of air condition and automatic lubrication systems as well as on-site fleet inspections. The typical types of vehicles and equipment are construction equipment, mining equipment, school buses, commercial passenger buses, semi-tractors, emergency services vehicles, etc. These tasks are performed at our customers locations throughout central Indiana. Qualifications:
• Previous experience with vehicle air conditioning systems and as a heavy-duty truck technician, mechanic, or other related fields (2+ years)
• CDL license or willing and able to obtain (Paid for by us!)
• ASE certifications or willing to obtain
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment, specifically air conditioning and automatic lubrication systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Driver’s License (Required)
• United States work authorization (Required)
• GED, High School Degree, or College Degree NOT REQUIRED

Our Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technicians primary responsibilities include inspection, diagnosing and repair of heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, and steering systems. Additional responsibilities may include DOT inspections, alignments, and preventive maintenance (oil and filter change). The typical types of vehicles are Class 3-8 trucks (semi’s, fire trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, etc), buses, recreational vehicles, trailers and pick-up trucks. Safe working conditions, no nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay plus incentives (no flat-rate pay), drug-free workplace.
