Footlite’s mission is to produce musicals and other dramatic offerings and to provide for education and training of persons in the theatre through hands-on experience and classes in the various stages of dramatic and musical theatre.

NEXT TO NORMAL auditions are TODAY!
Auditions will start at 6:30 p.m. today and tomorrow, September 23. Callbacks will be on Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The auditions will be held at Footlite Musicals in the Hedback Theatre – 1847 N. Alabama St., Indianapolis.
You may sign up for a time slot using the link below. You only need to attend one audition date. Sign-ups are not required.

The production team is seeking a cast of performers that is representative of the Indianapolis community—inclusive of all ethnicities, body types, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities.
Due to the mature content of the show, the director is seeking performers age 18 and up to portray the teenager roles.
Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars from a song that shows off your vocal talent, with sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.
The first rehearsal/meet and greet is set for October 15.
The performance dates are: January 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, and 19.

Addi Koehler (Sally Bowles) is delighted to make her Footlite debut in CABARET. An Indy local, she has performed in numerous productions and venues across the city. Recent credits include MURDERS AT MANIAC MANOR: THE MUSICAL (Darcy), INTO THE WOODS (Rapunzel), STARMITES (Shotzi), and THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (Magenta).
Lucy Fields (Emcee) is ecstatic to grace the Footlite stage for an eleventh time! Recent theatre credits include writing CAN’T BE A GOOD GIRL, MAMA (Sapphest in Brooklyn, NY), THREADBARE (staged reading at Blue Mind Coffee), and THE DEVINE ALCHEMISTS, acting in ANGELS IN AMERICA and LOVE/SICK, and directing BALLAD OF THE BOOK WOMEN.
Derek Savick-Hesser (Cliff Bradshaw) is thrilled to bring CABARET to the stage after recent appearances in BRIGHT STAR (Dr. Norquist) and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Bottle Dancer). Outside the theater, you can find him curating learning content or training staff virtually for Berklee College of Music.

Bobby Haley (Ernst Ludwig) is elated to be back at Footlite for CABARET! Bobby graduated from Western Illinois University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of his favorite roles have been WORKING (Track 1) and MACBETH (Malcolm), as well as BRIGHT STAR (Billy Cane) here at Footlite.
Marie Beason (Fräulein Schneider) is privileged to play this role in CABARET. She first appeared on Footlite’s stage in the 1979 young artist production of GOOD NEWS, and since then has enjoyed being a part of 11 more Footlite productions.
Len Mozzi (Herr Schultz) is excited to be acting again after a career in directing. He has an MFA in Directing from Boston University and was Associate Director of the Cincinnati Playhouse. Later, as Theater Department Chair at Earlham College, he directed many productions. Len appeared earlier this year in American Lives Theater’s production of THE MINUTES at the Phoenix Theater.
Emily Gaddy (Fräulein Kost) is thrilled to return to the Footlite stage, previously being seen in FUN HOME. Other performing credits include INTO THE WOODS, THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, and many others. Emily has also served as Vocal Director for THE WILD PARTY and THE BODYGUARD at Footlite.

Nicole Sherlock (Rosie) is ecstatic to be back on the Footlite stage! Her debut was last season in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Chava). Past shows include MOON OVER BUFFALO (Eileen), MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (Greta), and PERRY HAUGHTER AND THE MAGICAL MUSICAL (Perry). Nicole is a speech pathologist.
Katie Van Den Heuvel (Lulu) is so excited to be back on the Footlite stage! She has recently appeared in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS at Footlite, and in other community theatre productions including NEWSIES, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.
Kennedy Wilson (Helga) is thrilled to be in her fifth production at Footlite! When not in rehearsals, she works in the classroom by day and serves tables by night, all while pursuing a degree in education at IU Indianapolis. Some previous appearances include BRIGHT STAR (Lucy Grant), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Babette), and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

Linda Thomson (Texas) is thrilled to make her Footlite debut in CABARET! When she is not at the Kit Kat Club, Linda can be found teaching high school Spanish, as well as teaching adult jazz and hip-hop dance classes at Amp Dance Family.
Halle Massingale (Frenchie) is very excited to get back on stage after a four year hiatus! The last production you would have seen her in was FIRST DATE at Footlite in 2020 playing the role of Casey. Other notable productions include HEATHERS (Heather Chandler), LEGALLY BLONDE (Margot), and INTO THE WOODS (Rapunzel).
Amy Matters (Fritzie/Dance Captain) is ecstatic to be back on stage at Footlite after taking an eight-year-long break! She is a first grade teacher at New Bethel Elementary in Franklin Township. Her favorite roles include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Belle), THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (Columbia), SHREK THE MUSICAL (Gingy), and FOLLIES (Young Sally).

Louis Soria (Bobby) is ecstatic to be returning to the Footlite stage so soon! Previously appearing as Henri in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, he’s glad to be making another appearance on stage to perform with another extraordinary cast and crew, and grateful to continue to be welcomed into local community theater.
TaJeyon Bohannon (Victor/Dance Captain) is currently in his second year at Ball State University studying Theatre Creation. CABARET is his fourth show with Footlite. This show is a drastic change from shows he’s been in before, but he is excited to step into this uncharted territory.
Logan Laflin (Hans/Max) is excited to return to the Footlite stage for the seventh time, previously seen in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, BRIGHT STAR, A FOOTLITE FAMILY HOLIDAY, SWEENEY TODD, SOMETHING ROTTEN!, and THE WILD PARTY. He is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and currently works for IMMI.
Nate Taillon (Herman) is beyond thrilled to be in his first show with Footlite Musicals! He has done theater since he was young and is very excited to join the cast of CABARET. Nate is in his last year as a music therapy student at IU Indianapolis and cannot wait to start his career.
