MARINE CORPS EXPEDITED NATURALIZATION PROGRAM
If you are not a U.S. citizen, completion of recruit training provides a clear and expedited path to naturalization, earning you U.S. citizenship and the title: United States Marine.
Lawful permanent residents (W/I-551) and U.S. nationals are eligible to apply for naturalization through military service. Eligibility through military service expedited the process to completion. It can take as little as 3 months.
First, the applicant will create an account on USCIS.gov. Download and fill out the N-400 form (Application for Naturalization). Select "I am applying on the basis of qualifying military service" as the basis for eligibility. Upload all required documents and identification, but do not submit.
The applicant will then submit the package upon arrival to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego or Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C.. Fill out the Certification of Honorable Service, N-426. Complete a video interview and naturalization exam with USCIS. Finally, they will take the oath of Naturalization and graduate recruit training.
