Brazil is SO green! This is another one from my past when we visited our son in Brazil. He took us to this mountain where the tumbling waters rush over seven falls - spectacular! I love the serenity of this place...

Entering the Sumi-e Society of America's annual exhibition is important to me. This is the pinnacle of sumi-e art in the US and I'm thrilled whenever my artwork is accepted into the show. This year, for the first time, both of my pieces were juried in. I am so honored by the acceptance of "May This Be a Morning of Innocent Beginning" and "On The Shores of Gitchie Gumee."

These were lots of fun to do. Long, thin paintings placed side by side to be hung in small spaces in your home or business. I called them "WindowWorks" because I thought of them as looking out a window to the distant landscape. What do you think?
