Ghost glam meets the centerpiece cake trend 🖤

To make this cake, I baked two separate 15"x20" sheet cakes, cut each cake into three even 15"x6.66" sections, then stacked and frosted.

The full cake is two 15" long cakes placed side by side to create a 30" long cake. Then I placed it on two 14"x19" cake boards with a piece of wide plywood underneath for extra stability.

I did all the outer coat of black buttercream after both stacked cakes were fully in place and could still use my sturdy cake turntable to assist in that process. Then, I moved it to the table and did all of the piping and accent work until I decided she was complete.

After I finished, I realized it didn't fit in my fridge. Not sure I could transport it either. But I think I have those figured out now if anyone ever wanted to order this style for a large event, serving 100+ guests. The design options are endless!

It was such a joy to experience a personal and professional dream come true yesterday leading my very first Cake Class at in Little Mountain.

I had an incredible group of 11 ladies to enjoy the morning with and am so proud of them and their fabulous creations!

Fall is not in the air here in South Carolina, but I'm hearing whispers of pumpkin spice and football season plans, so here's my first subtle fall cake of the year.

I used Sky Blue and Electric Orange for the colors and Fall Sprinkles for the center.

It feels so good to be settled into our new home, new kitchen, and to be creating custom cakes again! My website has a fresh look with updated offerings and I've added edible images and some fondant techniques into my repertoire.

I'm currently booking into September and October and would love to be a part of your birthdays, showers, engagements, retirements, you name it! I will have very limited availability in October as we will be traveling a couple weekends of the month.
