I don't why, but there is a strange misconception that Independent Mortgage Advisors can't talk to their Underwriters. Is it that loan officers in the retail channel think that Underwriters in the Independent Channel don't have the same drive to close loans? It's the most bizarre myth out there and I'm going to crush it and put it to bed once again for all. Mortgage Advisors...you can ABSOLUTELY talk with your underwriter in the Independent Channel.
