To our cherished guests: This is an exceptionally difficult time for our community, our industry, and our CUCINA family. In keeping with directives of County and State mandates, it is with deep sadness we have temporarily closed our restaurants in San Diego and Orange County.

We will consider to go services for guests in the coming weeks, but at this time our main concern is the health and well-being of our team members. We will be directing our efforts to providing meals for them and their immediate families for as long as we possibly can.

Please help by supporting us – stock up on gift cards for future dining. And please do the same for our fellow local restaurants. We are all in this together!

We are choosing to remain open and serve our community with delicious food and exceptional hospitality. As we closely monitor the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we are committed to following the facts and recommendations provided by the CDC and public health officials. Our focus is to ensure we uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation to protect our employees, customers and community.
We have implemented and are committed to the following procedures:

- Enhancing cleaning procedures of common areas including but not limited to door handles, railings, chairs, bar, bathroom counters, etc.
- Use of antibacterial and antimicrobial cleaning solutions.
- Instructing employees to stay home if they are experiencing any type of cold or flu symptoms.
- Communicating with employees daily regarding the importance of adhering to handwashing protocols and sanitizing items such as cell phones.
- Making sure everyone knows to avoid touching their face and cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue or elbow, then throw the tissue in the trash. - Use of non-latex gloves worn by employees who are in direct contact with food and continuing to following all food handling policies and procedures.
- Forgo shaking hands or other physical contact. A smile or wave can be just as friendly and warm!
