Did you know that there are approximately 25,000 licensed agents in OC and less than 500 of them sold at least 10 homes in the last 12 months.

Less than 2% of licensed agents sell 10 homes or more in a year.

Despite what most of the reality TV shows make you think real estate is like, it’s way harder than you think.

“flexible schedules” or “just show a couple homes and get a huge commission” or my favorite…”real estate agents get paid too much” - these are just a few of the narratives.

I met Jimmy for the first time at a birthday party in August 2021.

We got to talking and I saw the tattoo on his forearm. “WE ARE THE THEY”

I asked him what it was and he told me the story of how it came about and how he was going to build a men’s group around it.

Not gonna lie. It gave me chills. In fact it still gives me chills every time I think about it.

He told me he was going to get a group of 100 guys and we were going to swim with sharks, run with bulls, trek with gorillas, and bungee jump out of helicopters into active volcanos.

I had no idea what I was getting into but was all in right at that moment. Where do I sign up?!

It is way more than anything I ever thought and I couldn’t imagine not being a part of such an amazing brotherhood.

One of my fondest memories with my dad is watching the Redskins play football.

When I came to, I had a stomach ache and there were sprinkles everywhere!

Let me back up and start from the top.

It was 20 months ago and Ryan and I were driving to a listing appointment and happened to see a donut shop as we made a left into the neighborhood.

The Homer Simpson in me said “ohhhhhh lets stop and get a donut” 🤤🍩

I’m not sure who said it but we both decided we would treat ourselves when we actually got the listing.

That turned into, let’s wait until we accept an offer, that turned into, let’s just get one when we close.

Well, a deal is a deal!

CLOSED…who’s next? Preferably they live by a donut shop ✌🏽

RMG continues to grow as we assemble and train the next generation of top agents!

2024 will not be easy! But with the right plan and the right team, anything is possible.

It’s so cool when life comes full circle.

In the end of 2022, my friend Rob reached out to me and said he was Inspired by me doing an Ironman and wanted to meet up and discuss what it looked like for him to do one.

Fast forward he’s done 2 now. Most recently completing the Cozumel full just 10 days ago and shaving 2 hours off his original time.

Hearing that inspired me enough to say, hey bro, I’d love to get back out there and go on a ride.

Today we did 35 beautiful miles together.

Iron sharpens iron.

As much as I love the clients who call and say, “hey, we’re ready to buy or sell today”, the reality is, our average client transacts within 8 months of our first conversation.

Therefore, follow up, nurturing, and constant value adding is necessary to keep the motivation high.

This specific sale took 20 months from start to finish and just like most sales, we had to overcome many challenges along the way.

It was a brilliant team effort. Referral from the amazing and the RMG team took it away!

We put a long term plan together and executed like butter. We sold this home for a record price in 14 days, when most homes in this area are taking upwards of 100 days to sell.

This one is bitter sweet because one of my best friends is closing her California chapter and moving to a new state.

The team spent 4 weeks preparing this property and we sold it for $46,000 above asking price on day 3.

Do you practice gratitude?

When you are thankful, blessings are attracted to you.

A negative attitude will run God off!

When you’re thankful, your blessings multiply.

You can only thank God for what you have. If you do, God will multiply it. It will never run out.

Your mouth can release a blessing or a curse. Be careful what you say.

Most are cursing their future because they don’t like your present.

Your words can open demonic portals

Most focus on what is NOT going right….and that distracts them from what IS going right.

If you can’t be thankful for what you have, that’s probably the reason why you don’t get more of it.

There is a blessing released in your life when you give thanks.

What you give God thanks for…he increases!

The reason why most aren’t experiencing more is because they aren’t giving thanks.

God won’t give you what you need. He gives you what you’re thankful for.

It’s easy to be negative or have a bad attitude. It’s easy to be disgruntled. Don’t live in denial, but you must be in control of what you say

Giving God thanks puts a smile on your face, changes your attitude, and brings about blessings.

Thank you lord for taking care of me. For meeting all my needs.

What we thank God for he blesses and multiplies

You will only experience increase when you give thanks to God for what you have.

Genuinely being thankful.

You can’t get close to God unless you give thanks. The more thanks you give the closer you get to God.

The more you complain the further you get from God. The devil wants you to complain.

God said - Give thanks in ALL things. That is the will of God.

God gives us wisdom. He speaks to us. He guides us.

Go over the top with your gratitude to and for God. Just begin giving thanks.

God will make you whole when you give thanks.

If you have an attitude of thanksgiving…God will change your life. Almost like you never went through what you went through.

We all have so much to be thankful for.

Our thanks can unlock the supernatural.

Let’s just say it took a lot of minutes in planning to accept an offer in 17 days.

2007 was my very first Tom Ferry success summit.

I was a brand new agent.

I was scared and in the back of the room like a deer in headlights.

I had no idea what was going on.

Fast forward 16 years and my entire business is based on strategies that came from Tom and his ecosystem!

From a room filled with 300 agents back in 2007 to close to 6000 in 2023….we keep moving forward!

8/3 - Organic Google call received. Owner is looking for 3 agents that serve NB to interview and based on our online presence we were 1/3

8/5 - Robert & Ryan present the RMG approach to the seller

8/6 - we were hired

8/10 - property on market

8/15 - offer accepted
