Corrective Exercise

Corrective Exercise is a scientifically structured exercise program, designed to restore and maintain posture and body movement mechanics. Everyone can benefit from Corrective Exercise, and each person is given a personalized program based upon their needs and goals - no cookie cutter programs here! Th
e Corrective Exercise program focuses much effort on technique - without it, there is little benefit to movement. By incorporating the “Three I’s” of exercise, each client is able to attain proper posture and function of the body. Those “I’s” are: “Isolate then Integrate” - the abdominal core must be be able to function in an isolated state, then appropriately taught to work at greater and more integrated capacities. “Integrate in order to Improve” - as we move throughout the day, dozens of muscles are being used in synchronicity, therefore we must exercise in a way that respects the true movement patterns of the body. “Information for the Individual” - as mentioned above, each Corrective Exercise program is tailored to your needs and goals. The Corrective Exercise Program works well with any other therapy or exercise program that you may be enrolled in. Health is a continuing property that is measured by how well an individual is able to fight off and overcome external or internal insults, whether physical, chemical, infectious, psychological, or social. Health is therefore maintained by keeping a balance between man and environment. Health values vitality before longevity. The human body works as a complete, whole unit, and a holistic health and nutrition approach must by applied when striving to maintain true health. Each Holistic Nutrition client first goes through a Complete Nutritional Evaluation & Plan. This detailed packet always us to take a more complete view of one’s health, by looking at all the key aspects of total body health. Once finished, we meet together for in depth look at how you can start today to achieve your goals and heal your body from the inside out! In each nutrition plan, clients follow the 12-Point Holistic Health Plan & Integration Process (HHP&IP). This is where we begin moving away a mere understanding of the appearance of health, to applying that knowledge towards acquiring health. A key focal point for the Marchant Training Method is teaching others how to heal themselves. The 12-Point HHP&IP covers the following topics over a 12 month period: Food Selection, Corrective Breathing, Proper Hydration, Restorative Sleep Patterns, The Power of Thought, The Movement of Working-In, and then covering how to improve function of the 6 major endocrine glands & organs, adrenal gland, ovaries/gonads, pancreas, thymus gland, thyroid gland, and pituitary gland. A Holistic approach to nutrition seeks to create health within the body, rather than focusing on the condition or disease that is affecting the body. Health and disease cannot exist in the same spot. A Holistic Coach is one who reflects back us questions and thoughts about our self and our surroundings that we may not have considered on our own. A coach in this sense, offers and invites clients into new ways of looking at life, rather telling the client how life should be viewed. Might it be true that changing how we think has more potential for personal growth than changing what we think? In Holistic Coaching, the experience of each client is very important, and it is within that very experience, that we might need to look. Could the awareness of our unknown parts, reveal more about us than our known parts? In each session, the client is allowed to be their own teacher, as the coach walks with them in their journey towards greater fulfillment and peace. In each Holistic Coaching Plan, clients are invited to participate in the 12-Point Inner Healing Plan & Integration Process (IHP&IP). In this series, we begin to increasing our awareness of why we do what we do, and learn to ask ourselves the deeper questions of life. The 12-Point IHP&IP covers the following topics over a 12 month period: The Roots of Self Sabotage Lessons 1-4, Becoming Friends with Anger, True Forgiveness, Finding Stability & Security, Creating Creativity, Establishing Your Personal Power, Giving & Receiving Love, Finding Your Voice, Developing Our 6th Sense. Our goal is to work both harder and smarter as we aspire to each day to be better than the day before. True unlimited power is experienced once we increase mobility, maintain stability, and develop usable and functional strength. Much time can be wasted in the gym doing exercises that neither address nor improve the exact strength and endurance needed on the field or on the job. Our strength & conditioning program not only puts you in the game, but it keeps you in the game as well. Far too often athletes and professionals needlessly become injured and are over fatigued.
