It’s always fun to speculate on the new technology that may be headed our way. Members of the Forbes Technology Council shared some of these predictions:

⏺ Smart thermostats: A smart temperature control system. A smart heater can turn off the heat when you leave and turn it back on a little before you arrive so that your home is cozy for you.

⏺ Resource-Optimization Systems: Voice controls will be eliminated in favor of true automation that will turn on lights as the sun sets and shut off irrigation systems when it rains. The home will learn its occupants’ habits.

⏺ UVC Lamps For Disinfection: With the pandemic bringing awareness to the need for clean air and surfaces, automated disinfection systems will be part of future smart homes. As one solution, UVC lamps that switch on automatically when neither humans nor pets are in a room.

Today marks the start of the Lunar New Year 2022; year of the Tiger! Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean communities, among others. The tiger is commonly viewed as an uplifting animal that can give people hope. Gopal and Yoga were being transferred from New York / New Jersey to Irvine.
