We are about to kick off a full weekend of rugby. The youth sides will be at Plano Rugby tomorrow morning for their last matches. High School is taking on a combined Alliance Rugby Club & Dallas Youth Rugby Club side at home at 10 am. Then the men take on Fort Worth Rugby Club at 2:30 pm at UD for their last match.
It has been a great season!

The men's side lost narrowly to Dallas Rugby Football Club D-4 side, 25-21. It was a hard fought match and just slipped out of our grasp at a few points. Thanks to Dallas for hosting.

The youth are back at it tomorrow. We are hosting our good friends Plano Rugby.
Our club has the deepest respect for Plano, and we are grieving the loss of their president, Mike Marketos, with them. We will honor Mike at our matches tomorrow. He was a dedicated servant to the game and youth rugby and we will all play our best in his honor.

We are back at it tomorrow! 7U-11U take on Frisco Rugby and Alliance Youth Rugby in the morning at UD. High School faces Dallas Youth Rugby Club at 2 pm at Lake Highlands.

Happy Groundhog Day! Our high school kicks off their year with a scrimmage against St Martin's Academy at 10 am.
Our men's side teams up (rejoins) with UD Alumni for the Groundhog match against UD Students at 2 pm today. It will be a good day for old and young Hoggies!

First match for our men's side in the books. It was hard fought against Dallas Rugby Football Club, and we turned up with some strong moments!
Congrats to Raph Flood who scored the first try in club history.
Special thanks to Coach Macnab who came out to support and to Groundhog Rugby Alumni who let us borrow the jerseys as we wait for ours to arrive.

It is time for the classic UD vs. UD Alumni this Saturday at 3 pm (1845 E. Northgate Dr., Irving). Many members from our community will be playing or enjoying the game, weather, and beer. It is the best rugby event in DFW.
LCRFC owes a special thanks to the Groundhog Rugby Alumni Association for their generous donation to our youth program this season. GRAA has been a steadfast supporter of the youth game for years--go Hoggies!

Our men's D-4 side has practice this Saturday again from 10-11:30 am at Lee Park -- 3000 Pamela Dr., Irving, Tx 75062.
Come and try rugby out!
And if you are playing in the UD Alumni game, it is not too late to get at least some fitness in before next Saturday!
Our first match is against Dallas's D-4 side on December 3rd. We are looking forward to our inaugural season.

Thanks Plano Rugbyand North Texas Rugby Football Club!
One of the things that makes Rugby so special is the culture. The players go out and battle against one another, but then turn around and build friendships as soon as the game is over. It was a pleasure getting all these kids, parents, and coaches together to just hang out after some great games! A huge thank you to Las Colinas Rugby, Great Hearts Irving, North Texas Rugby Football Club, and all the parents that helped make Saturday possible!
