🌎 🌿Today, we commemorate World Ozone Day to raise awareness on how you can help prevent ozone depletion in your daily lives.

TIPS
1. Choose water-based paints and solvents, or those with low volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Store solvents in airtight containers.
2. Replace old appliances with ozone-friendly appliances. Look for air conditioners or refrigerators that don't use HCFCs as a refrigerant and regularly inspect and maintain them.
3. Reduce auto use by carpooling, walking, biking, or driving a hybrid or electric car.
4. Buy local to reduce the amount of nitrous oxide produced by the transportation of goods.
5. Consume less meat products. (Poultry, beef, and dairy farms produce nitrous oxide when manure decomposes.)
