Whole Women Link
National organization focused on interweaving the best practices of mental health, physical healing, and spiritual healing for women.
🌟 Our hearts were full as our team connected with families at Bruce House in Wenatchee. We simply sat down, colored, and explored art therapy together. 🎨✨
🌿 This glimpse into play therapy left us inspired! We’re eagerly gearing up to bring play therapy training to these incredible families. Alongside that, we’re diving deep into nervous system regulation techniques because we believe that holistic well-being starts from within. 💚
🌸 Our approach is trauma-informed, recognizing the resilience and strength within each person. We honor their unique journeys and create a safe space for healing. 🌟
“Engaging in moments of befriending and learning to listen change the way we see our own experiences and the way we see the world.” ~ Deb Dana, Anchored 🌸
When we learn to listen to our nervous system, we can start with curiosity, leaving behind the need to fix or make meaningful connections. Instead, we simply be with the sensations in our body. Is my heart racing? Is there a knot in my stomach? Do I feel nothing? All sensations are welcome, and we’re here just to be curious. 🧐
We invite you to explore how your nervous system shifts in our Befriending Challenge.
Challenge Instructions:
🌿Daily Check-In: Once a day, or whenever you remember, take a moment to notice when you shift into dysregulation.
🧐Curious Exploration: Gently and curiously explore these emotions/feelings in your body.
🌳Practice Regulation: Practice moving in and out of these moments to build trust in yourself.
🫶Build Relationship: By regularly paying attention to your experiences, you begin to build a positive relationship with your nervous system.
🗯️Leave a comment below, and we’ll send you our free “Befriending Your Nervous System” worksheet.

At Whole Women Link Association, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with to offer yoga sessions specifically designed for caregivers. 🧘♀️ Caregivers often put others’ needs before their own, and these sessions aim to provide a much-needed space to recharge, destress, and prioritize their well-being.
“Thank you so much again for doing all of this for us. I feel so much better; I actually was having chronic hip pain, and after the first session with Bella, it was gone. It’s such a wonderful opportunity to help our caregivers feel better when normally we wouldn’t feel able to make it a priority.” ~ CECO caregiver
It’s tea time with and ! Today at 10:30AM PST. If you have any questions please DM us! See you soon ❤️
In the intricate landscape of our nervous system, we navigate three terrains daily, shaping our emotions and responses. (Yours may look different, and that’s ok 🙂)
🌸 The Wildflower Field (Ventral State)
A sun-kissed meadow where wildflowers sway. Here, safety blooms like delicate petals. Picture a white flower—your beacon of serenity.
🌪️ The Chaotic Tornado (Sympathetic State)
Suddenly, the sky darkens. Fear surges, but courage lies within. Cling to your inner talisman—a feather, mantra, or memory of strength.
🌵 The Desolate Desert (Dorsal State)
Endless sand, hope shimmering faintly. We freeze, but it’s about finding our way back. Carry a pocket-sized oasis—a memory, soothing touch, or whispered affirmation.
Deb Dana’s 📖 “Anchored: How to Befriend Your Nervous System Using Polyvagal Theory” reminds us these journeys are natural. Our free course, “The Language of the Nervous System,” draws from Dana’s wisdom. We invited you to visit Whole Women Link to explore our tools and resources.
If this resonates, like ❤️, comment 💬, and share 🙏. Let’s create ripples of healing together.
Exciting News! ✨ Our 3rd course, “The Language of the Nervous System,” is almost ready! Stay tuned for insights from our newest team member, Alyssa. You’re invited to join our tapping exercise and sound bath!
In the meantime time we invite you to sign up for our online education platform using the link in our bio. Share this with family and friends to help us build valuable resources for all women. 🙌
Hello Monday! Friendly reminder: “Today, I will go with the flow of life and trust the process. I will not stress over things I can’t control.”
Life is like a river, winding its way through unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes, we hit rapids, 🌊 and other times, we glide peacefully. But no matter what, we’re all in the same boat, navigating this wild ride together. 🚣♀️
So, let’s take a deep breath and release the tension. Imagine the weight of worry lifting off your shoulders. Instead of wrestling with the uncontrollable, let’s focus on what we can influence:
Our Attitude: We can choose how we react to life’s surprises. How will you choose to see the cup? Half-full or half-empty?
Self-Care: Treat yourself like you would treat a really good friend! Whether it’s a warm cup of tea, a walk in nature, or dancing to your favorite song, prioritize self-love. 💕
Connections: Reach out to a friend or family member. Share a laugh, a story, or even a virtual hug. Connection is medicine for the soul. 🤗
Remember, it’s okay to surrender to the flow. Trust that the universe has your back, even when the path seems unclear. 🧐
Feel free to share this post with someone who needs a gentle reminder today. 🌷
Remember, you’re not alone on this journey. We’re all navigating the currents of life, and sometimes, a little encouragement goes a long way.

In the midst of our fast-paced modern lives, we often overlook the beauty of our planet amidst the chaos of technology and daily routines. It’s easy to forget to take a moment to appreciate the wonder of this miraculous home we call Earth. 🌎
If we could only see the Earth from the perspective of an astronaut, we would marvel at the fragility of the atmosphere, the vastness of the oceans, and the intricate patterns of the landscape below. Our home is precious, and we must cherish it.
On this Earth Day, let us all take a moment to pause, breathe in the fresh air, and connect with the simplicity of nature. Take in the beauty of the flowers, the vibrant colors of the world around us, and the sweet melodies of the birds. Let the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze on your skin remind you of the sacredness of our planet.
May this Earth Day inspire us all to be better stewards of our home and to work towards a better future for generations to come. 🌳💕🌎

When all our parts and shadows can feel seen and heard our core self heals and can experience what is called the 8 c’s:
Calmness, clarity, compassion, curiosity, confidence, courage, creativity and connectedness.
Think about what each “C” means to you? How can you implement them into your life? If you have more questions, let’s start a discussion!
“…I felt that as women, we had much to contribute. In fact, for the longest time, way before I married Martin, I had believed that women should allow our essence and presence to shine, rather than letting ourselves be buried or shunted to the sidelines.” Coretta Smith King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy
As we remember Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this holiday, let's also remember Coretta Scott King, a mother, wife, advocate for human rights, essence of compassion and embodiment of strength, wisdom, and bravery. Mrs. Scott King stood with Dr. King as he became a leader of the civil rights movement while creating her own legacy, continuing the voice of nonviolence and the dream of the beloved community.
Let's honor the legacy of Coretta Scott King by embracing our own strengths and supporting one another.
Cheers to the magic of new beginnings!
What’s the difference between setting a goal, and holding an intention?
Some might say they are one in the same. Dig a little deeper than the surface and you will find seeds of growth we plant within ourselves when we set an intention.
A goal is a target. Goals get things done. It is what you want to DO in the world and are looking outwards. When we engage in the process of planning and analyzing the feel good hormone dopamine is released and the brain loves it! We tend to get down on ourselves if the current situation doesn’t look the way we thought it would.
What happens when we don’t meet that goal or there’s a set back? What happens when we don’t make it to the gym 3 times a week? Or it’s been 3 months, you’ve been meditating, doing yoga, etc, etc and you still get angry?
An intention on the other hand speaks to our values. Who you want to BE. When you’re intentional you’re focusing and being real about who you are, what you do, and why you do it here and now. Setting intentions leads us through the process of reaching our goals allowing us to learn the lessons, make adjustments and find joy in making it through and less on reaching an outcome. Even if there’s a setback and we eat the cake our intentions remain the same.
What areas of your life do you want to nurture and evolve in the coming year? Share your intentions below and let’s inspire each other on this journey of self-discovery.
🌒 🤔 What’s the darkest day of the year? In the northern hemisphere it will be December 21, 2023.
❄️ Winter Solstice, the shortest day, but the moment when the Sun begins its return, promising more light filled days to come.
Some people are celebrating the return of the Sun with rituals or traditions. But there are also some people that may be experiencing feelings of melancholy and sadness.
This time of year is meant to be a time to slow down, to reflect and recharge, a time of rest.
In today’s modern world, yeah right! The chaos of the holiday season distracts us and we avoid the need to turn inward and sit with ourselves in stillness.
It’s hard and sometimes relaxing is easier said than done!
With grace, we hope you can give yourself permission to relax, spend time with the people that bring you joy, and do more of what brings you light in the dark days. We have all overcome adversity this year, look towards those strengths or tools, no matter how big or small that serve you and continue to use them as we move through these winter months, remembering that each day is going to be a little lighter than the day before.
Happy Winter Solstice ❄️💕
The truth is you never know when triggers will show up in life, especially when we gather in family systems & old dynamics re-emerge.
As we navigate the hustle and bustle of life, let’s not lose sight of what truly matters. Remember that timeless wisdom of Mr. Rogers, who reminded us, “It’s not so much what we have in this life that matters. It’s what we do with what we have.”
In this journey, let’s not lose sight of what’s truly important. Our lives gain meaning not from possessions, but from the impact we create. Take a breath, appreciate the simple joys, and remember your worth isn’t defined by material things.
Let’s cherish the simple moments, share a smile with a stranger, lend a helping hand, or simply listen with an open heart. Remember, it’s the love we give, the compassion we show, and the connections we foster that truly define our journey.
What small act of kindness can you weave into each day this week? 💜
💜 Supporting women is kind of our thing 😁 To us every day is about women supporting women 💪
We look forward to kicking this month off with tools & tips that will support and meet women where they are. Know that you’re not alone 🫶
Tip #1 from Heather: It’s ok to hide in your room for a hot second to scream into your pillow 😉😁
Tag an inspirational woman you support (or send her a message 🥰)
Embrace the beauty of imperfection; it’s the raw canvas where life’s most incredible masterpieces are painted!
Embrace the mess, find your rhythm and create through the unpredictable art that is life.
Allow yourself to embrace your flaws and your imperfect chaos.
“It’s the imperfections that make something beautiful that’s what makes it different and unique from everything else.” ~ Bob Ross
